6-28-24   THOUGHTS

The words below are some of the most powerful ever penned.  They are dense with sense and timing and relationship and the story of eternity in God’s saving His creation.  Verse 4 explodes in eternity as God chooses The Time to send Messiah-Savior!  Redemption and adoption are most significant terms.  “Abba Father” must not go unnoticed!  We become sons and heirs!  Our bondage to the elemental things of the world is relieved.  We are no more slaves to sin and death and Satan in Christ Jesus.  How simple, how eternal, how loving!   1John 4:9-10   By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him.  10  In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Gal 4:1-7     Now I say, as long as the heir is a child, he does not differ at all from a slave although he is owner of everything,  2  but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by the father. 3  So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world. 4  But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5  so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. 6  Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"  7  Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

My Prayer:
May our worship and praise and thanksgiving rise up to please You, O God of all creation.  Help us to see You in the fullness of Your glory.  Perfect the living hope You have provided for us and in us.  Show us “Abba”  relationship as we seek You with our whole heart.  Thank You for the gift of eternity that is in Christ Jesus.   In the name of our Savior,     Amen.
